Tuesday, June 21st is the next Bead Club class.  This is what Ronald Midkiff sent to us regarding the June class:

Bead Club

Pre-register for the class here.

This announcement is coming out a little early because I’m going to the Bead and Button Show in Milwaukee June 5 – 12.  When I return I will have a short time to prepare kits for this June 21 class.

Responding to a request, the class on June 21 will be on Right Angle Weave—sometimes referred to as RAW for short.  I have given much thought as to which project would be best to teach beginning RAW.  I have decided to go with a very basic pattern, but will yield a simple, elegant look.  The bracelet is pictured below.  I will have kits in four colorways: gold, silver, cream pearl, and mint green.  The bead used is a 4 mm. glass pearl.  The slide clasp is a special one I ordered just for this project.  It comes from Germany and has smooth edges; therefore, thread protectors will not be necessary.  In the picture below, the gold and mint green I have used thread protectors, but in the silver and cream pearl I have not.  I really like the finished look without thread protectors better.

The kits will make a 7 inch bracelet, including clasp.  For those of you who will need a larger bracelet, I will have extra strings of glass pearls for you.  The kits are $15 and an extra string of pearls will be $2.

I need to know if you plan to attend and what colorway(s) you want reserved for you.

Keep Beading,

Ronald
