Class size at Fabrics Galore and Quilting Store is limited to 10 students on a first come, first registered basis. If you see a class coming up that you’d love to take, you may reserve your seat by prepaying for this class online, or stop by our retail shop to register and prepay. Once we fill the 10 seats, thats the limit.

The Chameleon Handbag Class :: Beginner Level

Back by popular demand is the The Chameleon Handbag Class instructed by Karen Izor. This class is on Friday, April 29th from 10am to 5pm at Fabrics Galore and Quilting Store. Fold n Stitch Wreath Class :: Advanced Beginner

Instructed by Karen Izor, you learn to make a pretty seasonal wreath, or an unusual table topper. Whip up this dimensional design in an afternoon! ART QUILTS EXHIBIT

A traveling exhibition of Art Quilts exploring themes of spirituality, joy, inspiration, peace, brotherhood, grief and healing. Rag Class is a monthly class held on the 4th Wednesday of each month.

March 23rd is the next Rag Class. Learn how to make a beautiful lap quilt just like the one pictured here, using your favorite fabric patterns.

In May, we’ve added a brand new class called T-Shirt Quilt Class. We’ll be posting a photo of what it looks like soon.

May 16 & May 23 – Join us for this fun T-Shirt Quilt class led by instructor Pam Ippolito. Bring at least 12-20 clean T-Shirts, basic sewing supplies and if you have a 14 inch square ruler or larger. Additional supply list will be given at time of sign up.

Creative Grids is Coming In Early June!!

In June, Fabrics Galore and Quilting Store is hosting a very special event at one of the area hotels for a guest speaker and demo. So sorry we have not been able to get lots of details just yet but you can register on our website and pre-pay if you know about it and definitely want to participate. Here are the details:

March winds and April rains bring forth May flowers

Some days “March comes in like a lamb and out like a lion”. I think this is better: March winds and April rains bring forth May flowers. We like the promise of flowers. Right?

I love the coming of spring, the broader spans of daylight as the season approaches “Daylight Savings Time” THIS WEEKEND- Already! Wow. So set your clocks as we spring forward to gain another hour of delicious sunshine and springtime skies. YES!

You might have to slog around in rubber boots through a bit of the rainy season, but who doesn’t love the joyful scent of daffodils and other spring flowers popping up from the ground, robins cocking their heads as they listen to the sounds of big fat night crawlers just below the surface of a soft grassy turf, and the rich scent of potting soil where we’ll retrieve our garden tools to fill the new seasons pots with fresh soil for decorating our front porch with the colors of spring. Ahhh flowers, hummingbirds, green grass, sweet breezes…. Bring it on.

We accept paypal.com on our website for payment of fabric and quilting supplies as well as pre-register for classes. With paypal.com you do not have to have an account. You can check out without ever having an account. But if you do have a paypal.com account, it just makes it faster and more convenient for checkout. Paypal.com accepts just about any credit card you use from Amex, to Discover, Visa, MasterCard, Diners Club and even bank ach. Please let us know if you need help with your credit card. We will also key in your card on our terminal if you feel better calling on the phone.
