We also want to give a BIG shout out to all those who donated a quilt for the S.A.F.E. organization. Thanks so much for your contributions. They have been dropped off to the S.A.F.E. organization for distribution as needed. It is nice that we can all come together to help those in need within our community.
Just a reminder, we will once again be hosting our annual North Georgia Sweet Peach Retreat on September 8, 9, and 10, 2026. This year will be our 5th year hosting! The retreat is held at Brasstown Valley Resort, Young Harris, Georgia. The cost for the retreat is $435.00, which does not include hotel accommodations. However, we have been able to secure an exceptional room rate this year for those attending. If you should need any additional information, please feel free to contact the store.
Beginning January 5, 2026, we will be offering long arm quilting services. We will only accept quilts for drop-off on Mondays and Tuesdays of each week. Also, there is a limit of 1 quilt top per person. This is a new endeavor for us at Fabrics Galore and adjustments may be made as we embark on this new journey.
The new All Southeast Shop Hop will take place in August 1-September 30, 2026. Fabrics Galore and Quilting Store will be a participant this year! Stay tuned for exciting news and to purchase your magazine before this event begins.

Our 11th Annual Anniversary Sales Event will kick-off on Thursday, January 8, 2026 and run through Saturday, January 10, 2026. (January 8, 9 and 10th) We will offer storewide savings and daily specials during this event. We’ve been stocking the shelves with new fabrics for all your upcoming projects in the New Year. You don’t want to miss this great sale, so plan on joining us for exceptional savings.
We will close on Wednesday, December 24th at 1 p.m. and remain closed until Monday, January 5, 2026, at 10 a.m. in celebration of Christmas and New Year’s. Take some time and spend with your family and friends this holiday season and we look forward to seeing everyone in 2026!
