Sign Up For Our FGQS Log Cabin Window Challenge Block
The Challenge: You will make a minimum of 3 Log Cabin Windows measuring 14″ X 51″ per the instructions included here. When you sign up at Fabrics Galore and Quilting Store you will draw three items from the bowl that must be in your windows. They can be the main feature of what we see from the street or they can be part of a larger scene, but must be identifiable. You can use 1, 2 or all 3 of your items in each window or one per window. Your quilt must be completely finished backed and bound.
Your quilt will be judged by your quilting sisters and brothers, both online and in the store.
We’ll provide photos of all the quilts entered for the online votes.
Quilts displayed at Fabrics Galore and Quilting Store will remain on display at our Blairsville Georgia quilting shop from June 3rd to August 31st.
Dates: Deadline for submitting your quilt for judging will be June 1, 2017. Judging will begin June 3rd thru Aug. 31st.
The Winner will be announced Saturday Sept. 3rd at FGQS.
Fees: There will be a $5 fee to sign up and receive your instructions.
Prizes: 1st prize: $200 store certificate to Fabrics Galore and Quilting Store
2nd prize: Gift box filled with goodies at a $75.00 value
